California Pizza Kitchen Workers Settle Claims Over Data Breach

California Pizza Kitchen workers advanced a class settlement over a 2021 data breach that compromised the personally identifiable information of more than 100,000 current and former employees, when they asked a California federal court to approve the deal.

Kansas Gilleo and Sydney Rusen claim that CPK failed to properly safeguard their data, exposing their names, Social Security numbers, and other personal information.

If Judge David O. Carter of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California approves the deal, all class members who submit valid claims would receive $100 and would be eligible for credit monitoring services.
