Congress Says Emergent Hid Vaccine Plant Issues From FDA (1)

Quality-control issues at contract manufacturer Emergent BioSolutions Inc. led to the disposal of about 400 million doses of coronavirus vaccines, more than previously disclosed, according to a new Congressional report.

The report from the Democratic-led House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis suggests that Emergent hid evidence of the contamination of vaccines made by Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca Plc from US regulators inspecting its facility.
