Gulf of Mexico Oil Lease Sale Analysis Sufficient, Court Rules

A federal court denied environmental groups’ motion to require the Trump administration to further analyze the environmental impacts of two planned offshore oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico.

U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia Judge Reggie B. Walton on Tuesday denied the groups’ 2018 motion for summary judgment against the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management.
